NYPost Fade Tracking

I used to be one of the originals as part of the fade crews. Look me up - the fade Mr. A, fade Gina, fade Lang, fade Budin, fade Demarco, fade Dom Chambers, I've all been involved or led it.

I'm back about ten years later to try out a new fade. I'm a subscriber to the NY Post and they release a play of the day via VSIN. I have no idea how this does but over the last few weeks I've glanced at it and my initial reaction is, "that seems super square and the wrong side."

Thus we have an experiment to see if it's fade worthy. Serious warning : I have no data on this and the public (from my knowledge) has crushed it the last 2 months. If you go to a tout forum like Al Demarco's or scan Twitter everyone is up in college basketball. These NY Post guys are public bettors. I would not expect to see many anti-consensus 20% dogs.

I should have plays up before noon. Last rule is that I'm going to post the fade I want to go with. On runlines and pucklines I think it may be prudent to get juicy on the fade and play those sides versus a flat fade if they take a juicy favorite.

3/16/2021, NYPost play : Lightning -148. Our fade play : take the Dallas Stars puckline : Stars +1.5 (-200)

Plays will be for $100 a pop. I will not go over -225 and by all means feel free to take Stars ML +145 or play Stars +1

Lightning win 4-3 so the fade wins by taking the puckline. Again, risky with the juice but I think it may be worth it when dealing with this fade.

There are multiple picks throughout the paper today which makes things more challenging. Under the regular VSIN top play section is Wes Reynolds (VSIN) taking Liberty +7.5

Sometimes in fade threads you don't fade parlays but I am going to advocate (it's my thread) playing Villanova and Oregon State spreads. Will post them later as it makes no sense to get them in now while the lines may climb.

I am interested to see if Hondo makes an appearance tomorrow with the start of the MLB season.
